Depression and Aceon

Final Thoughts

For people taking Aceon, depression is possible, although it is not known whether it is an actual side effect or due to something else. However, if you notice any possible depression symptoms while taking Aceon or something "just does not seem right," you should talk to your healthcare provider. He or she will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.

Also, if you have a history of depression and are prescribed Aceon, talk to your doctor. Together, you can decide whether an ACE inhibitor, such as Aceon, makes sense for your particular situation.
