More Drugs That Interfere With Afeditab

Nefazodone (Serzone)
Nefazodone can increase the level of Afeditab CR in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your Afeditab CR dose.
 
Protease Inhibitors
Protease inhibitors can increase the level of Afeditab CR in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your Afeditab CR dose.
 
Quinidine
Afeditab CR can decrease the level of quinidine in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Also, quinidine may increase the level of Afeditab CR in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your dose of these medications.
 
Rifamycin Derivatives
Rifamycin derivatives can greatly reduce the level of Afeditab CR in your blood, making it much less effective. It is generally not recommended to combine Afeditab CR with rifamycin derivatives.
 
Certain Seizure Medications
Taking Afeditab CR with certain seizure medications can decrease the level of Afeditab CR in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to increase your dose of Afeditab CR.
 
St. John's Wort
St. John's wort can decrease the level of Afeditab CR in your blood, perhaps making it less effective. Your healthcare provider may need to increase your dose of Afeditab CR.
 
Tacrolimus (Prograf)
Afeditab CR can increase the level of tacrolimus in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider should monitor the level of tacrolimus in your blood and may need to decrease your tacrolimus dosage.
 
Warfarin (Coumadin, Jantoven)
There have been reports of an interaction between warfarin and Afeditab CR. Afeditab CR may increase your risk of bleeding while you are taking warfarin. Your healthcare provider may need to monitor you more closely, especially when starting or stopping Afeditab CR.
