Drug Interactions With Amlodipine and Valsartan

Medications that may cause drug interactions with amlodipine and valsartan include amiloride, eplerenone, and ACE inhibitors. When certain medicines interact with the blood pressure medication, the drugs may lose their effectiveness and side effects may occur, such as low blood pressure or high potassium levels. To help prevent amlodipine and valsartan interactions, make sure your healthcare provider knows about all other medications you are taking.
