Drug Interactions With Amlodipine-Valsartan-Hydrochlorothiazide

Angiotensin II receptor blockers, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, bile-acid sequestrants, and various other medications may cause amlodipine-valsartan-hydrochlorothiazide drug interactions. These interactions may reduce the effectiveness of the medicines, increase the potassium levels in your blood, or increase your risk for developing side effects or other complications.

    • Potassium chloride (K-Dur®, Klor-Con®, Micro-K®)
    • Potassium citrate (Urocit-K®, Polycitra-K®)
    • Potassium gluconate
    • Potassium phosphate (Neutra-Phos-K®, K-Phos®)
    • Salt substitutes (used to flavor food)
