Drug Interactions With Candesartan-Hydrochlorothiazide

As with any medication, there are possible drug interactions with candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide. Taking candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide along with other medications, such as diuretics or potassium supplements, can change the way your body metabolizes these drugs. As a result, these drug interactions can cause your blood pressure to decrease too much or can make the levels of potassium in your blood become too high. Therefore, it is important to discuss any potential candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide drug interactions with your healthcare provider.
