Cardene SR Dosing

The dose of Cardene SR your healthcare provider recommends will vary depending on a number of factors, including:
 
  • Other medical conditions you may have
  • Other medications you may currently be taking.
     
As is always the case, do not adjust your Cardene SR dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.

Side Effects of Cardene SR

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with Cardene SR. However, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. When Cardene SR side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
 
Common side effects of Cardene SR include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Swelling or water retention in the lower legs or feet
  • Flushing or hot flashes
  • Feelings of a rapidly or forcefully beating heart (palpitations).
