Demadex and Breastfeeding
There has been no research done on Demadex and breastfeeding, and it is not known if the medication passes through breast milk. Therefore, the manufacturer of Demadex recommends that the medication should be used with caution in women who are breastfeeding. If you do decide to take Demadex while breastfeeding, be sure to watch for any side effects or changes in your nursing baby.

It is not known if Demadex® (torsemide) is passed through breast milk. Because of the potentially serious side effects that could occur in the nursing infant, the manufacturer of Demadex recommends that the medication should be used with caution in women who are breastfeeding.
