Dynacirc Drug Interactions
When certain medications are taken with Dynacirc, drug interactions may occur that could increase your risk for side effects or decrease the effectiveness of the medicine. Before starting Dynacirc, tell your healthcare provider about other drugs you are taking. Some of the medications that can cause negative Dynacirc drug interactions include protease inhibitors, rifamycin antibiotics, delavirdine, and certain antibiotics or antifungals.
Dynacirc® (isradipine) can potentially interact with a number of other medicines. Some of the medicines that may lead to Dynacirc drug interactions include:
- Certain antibiotics or antifungals, such as:
- Clarithromycin (Biaxin®)
- Erythromycin (Ery-Tab®)
- Isoniazid (Nydrazid®)
- Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
- Ketoconazole (Neoral®)
- Miconazole
- Telithromycin (Ketek®)
- Cimetidine (Tagamet®)
- Conivaptan (Vaprisol®)
- Delavirdine (Rescriptor®)
- Imatinib (Gleevec®)
- Nefazodone (Serzone®)
- Protease inhibitors, such as:
- Amprenavir (Agenerase®)
- Atazanavir (Reyataz®)
- Fosamprenavir (Lexiva®)
- Indinavir (Crixivan®)
- Nelfinavir (Viracept®)
- Ritonavir (Norvir®)
- Rifamycin antibiotics, such as rifabutin (Mycobutin®), rifampin (Rifadin®), or rifapentine (Priftin®).
