Drug Interactions With HydroDIURIL

HydroDIURIL: What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

You should talk with your healthcare provider prior to taking HydroDIURIL if you have:
 
  • Liver disease, including cirrhosis
  • Kidney disease or kidney failure
  • Diabetes
  • Systemic lupus erythematosus (lupus or SLE)
  • A personal or family history of angioedema, which is swelling under the skin (especially of the throat or mouth)
  • Gout
  • Pancreatitis
  • High cholesterol
  • Allergies
  • Asthma
  • Fluid or electrolyte problems
  • Parathyroid problems
  • Had a sympathectomy (a specific kind of surgery)
  • Any allergies, including allergies to HydroDIURIL, ACE inhibitors, sulfa drugs, foods, dyes, or preservatives.
     
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
 
Tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you may currently be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
