Indapamide Alternatives

If your blood pressure cannot be controlled with indapamide, alternatives to the medication are available, such as diet changes or other medications. Common alternatives to indapamide for treating water retention may include limiting your salt and fluid intake or trying other diuretics. Indapamide alternatives should be considered if side effects occur or if the drug doesn't completely control your condition.

For most people, indapamide is effective in treating their condition and most people tolerate it well. However, as with all medicines, side effects can occur or the medicine may not completely control their conditions. Fortunately, there are several alternatives to indapamide for high blood pressure or water retention.
