Is a Generic Version of InnoPran XL Available?
InnoPran XL is manufactured by Reliant Pharmaceuticals, Inc. It is currently under the protection of a patent that prevents any generic InnoPran XL from being manufactured in the United States. Yet, if you search the internet for "generic InnoPran XL," you may find a number of companies selling it (or at least claiming to sell it). The fact is, these medicines may be fake, substandard, and potentially dangerous. There may be generic versions available from another country, but there is really no way of knowing if you are getting genuine InnoPran XL. You should not buy any generic InnoPran XL until there is an approved version available.
When Will Generic InnoPran XL Be Available?
The first patent for InnoPran XL currently expires in December 2022.
This is the earliest predictable date that a generic version of the medication could become available. However, there are other circumstances that could come up to extend or shorten the exclusivity period of InnoPran XL. This could include such things as lawsuits or other InnoPran XL patents.
