InnoPran XL Drug Interactions

There are a number of drugs that may interfere with InnoPran XL. For example, problems may occur if the blood pressure medication is taken together with ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blockers, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Drug interactions with InnoPran XL could lead to dangerously low blood pressure and cause various other serious problems, such as slow heart rate, strokes, or very high blood pressure.

An Overview of InnoPran XL Interactions

 InnoPran XL® (propranolol XL) can potentially interact with several other medications. Some of these medicines that may lead to interactions with InnoPran XL include:
 
  • ACE inhibitors, including:

 

 

  • Alcohol
  • Alpha blockers, including:

 

 

 

 

  • Certain arrhythmia medications, including:

 

    • Amiodarone (Cordarone®)
    • Disopyramide (Norpace®, Norpace CR®)
    • Lidocaine (Xylocaine®)
    • Propafenone (Rythmol®)
    • Quinidine
    • Sotalol (Betapace®)

 

 

 

  • Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), including:

 

 

  • Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including (but not limited to):

 

 

 

 

  • Reserpine
  • Thyroid medications, including:
