Certain Antibiotics or Antifungals
Taking isradipine CR with certain antibiotics or antifungals can increase the level of isradipine CR in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider should monitor you more closely and may need to decrease your isradipine CR dosage while you are taking these antibiotics or antifungals.
 
Cimetidine (Tagamet)
Cimetidine can increase the level of isradipine CR in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your isradipine CR dose or suggest an alternative to cimetidine.
 
Conivaptan (Vaprisol)
Conivaptan can increase the level of isradipine CR in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your isradipine CR dose to prevent this interaction from occurring.
 
Delavirdine (Rescriptor)
Delavirdine can increase the level of isradipine CR in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your isradipine CR dose as a result.
 
Imatinib (Gleevec)
Imatinib can increase the level of isradipine CR in your blood, possibly increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your isradipine CR dose to prevent this from occurring.
 
Nefazodone (Serzone)
Nefazodone can increase the level of isradipine CR in your blood, potentially increasing your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to decrease your isradipine CR dose to prevent this.
