Isradipine CR

Isradipine CR is a prescription medicine licensed for the treatment of high blood pressure. It is a type of calcium channel blocker that works by relaxing the blood vessels (which helps to reduce blood pressure). Isradipine CR comes in tablet form and is typically taken once a day. Although most people tolerate the medication well, potential side effects include abdominal pain, fatigue, and dizziness.

 

What Is Isradipine CR?

Isradipine CR (Dynacirc CR®) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Isradipine CR tablets are "controlled-release," which means they slowly release the medication over time.

Isradipine CR Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with isradipine CR.
 However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
 
Common side effects of isradipine CR include but are not limited to:
 
  • Swelling or water retention (edema)
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness
  • Abdominal pain (stomach pain).
