It is a type of calcium channel blocker that works by relaxing the blood vessels (which helps to reduce blood pressure). Isradipine CR comes in tablet form and is typically taken once a day. Although most people tolerate the medication well, potential side effects include abdominal pain, fatigue, and dizziness.
