Lisinopril-Hydrochlorothiazide Side Effects

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with lisinopril-hydrochlorothiazide. However, not everyone who takes the medicine will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate lisinopril-hydrochlorothiazide well. When side effects with the drug do occur, they are often minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
 
The most common side effects with lisinopril-hydrochlorothiazide include:
 
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Cough (see Lisinopril Cough)
  • Fatigue
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting on standing from a sitting or lying down position (known medically as orthostatic effects).
