Side Effects of Candesartan-Hydrochlorothiazide

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide. However, not everyone who takes candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide well. When candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide side effects do occur, they are often minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
The most common candesartan-hydrochlorothiazide side effects include:
  • An upper respiratory infection, such as the common cold or flu
  • Back pain
  • Dizziness
  • Low potassium levels in the blood.
