Hypertension Home > Isradipine CR for High Blood Pressure

Approved for the treatment of high blood pressure, isradipine CR (Dynacirc CR®) is a prescription drug sold in the form of "controlled-release" tablets. Because the tablets slowly release the medication over time, most people only need to take it once a day.

Isradipine CR belongs to a class of drugs known as calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing the blood vessels, which helps to lower blood pressure.
