Healthcare providers often prescribe trandolapril-verapamil hydrochloride ER (Tarka®) to lower high blood pressure (hypertension). This combination drug contains the following active ingredients:
 
  • Trandolapril, an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACE inhibitor)
  • Verapamil ER, a calcium channel blocker.
