People who take too much indapamide may have overdose symptoms that could include:
  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Weakness
  • Electrolyte imbalance
  • Low blood pressure (hypotension)
  • Difficulty breathing.

Storage Methods

This medication should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. The tablets should be kept in an airtight container.
Keep indapamide and all medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your indapamide as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed one and continue with normal dosing. Do not take a double dose.

Currently, generic indapamide tablets are available and licensed for sale.

Who Makes Indapamide?

Indapamide was originally made by sanofi-aventis. However, brand-name indapamide is no longer being made. A generic version is still available.

  • Indapamide 1.25 mg tablets
  • Indapamide 2.5 mg tablets.
