Hypertension Home > Drug Interactions With Methylsulfonylmethane

There are no known drug interactions with methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a dietary supplement claimed to be beneficial for a wide variety of conditions. However, this does not mean that methylsulfonylmethane does not interact with any medications. It simply means that no studies have looked for methylsulfonylmethane interactions, and no possible or likely interactions have been reported.

It is possible that there are potential methylsulfonylmethane interactions that are not currently known. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about any specific drug interactions that may apply to you. If you take methylsulfonylmethane, be sure to include it in your list of medications and supplements that you take.
