Methylsulfonylmethane is a naturally occurring sulfur compound found in many foods and available as a dietary supplement. It is believed to be useful for treating and/or preventing medical conditions such as high cholesterol, allergies, and arthritis. However, there is currently not enough evidence to show that methylsulfonylmethane is indeed effective for these conditions. Potential side effects of the supplement include nausea, insomnia, and diarrhea.

What Is Methylsulfonylmethane?

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a compound found in many foods, such as grains, fruits, vegetables, and milk. It is also available as a dietary supplement.
