When products such as yohimbe, rituximab, or certain blood pressure drugs are taken with minoxidil oral, interactions may occur. Some of these negative reactions may increase your risk for problems, including dangerously low blood pressure. To minimize any potential complications, make sure to tell your healthcare provider if you are taking any other medications or supplements before starting treatment.

Minoxidil oral (Loniten®) may react with many other medications. Some of the drugs that may lead to interactions with minoxidil oral include but are not limited to:
 

 

 
  • Prostacyclin analogs, such as:
 
    • Epoprostenol (Flolan®, Veletri®)
    • Iloprost (Ventavis®)
    • Treprostinil (Remodulin®, Tyvaso®)
