Dosing Information for Moexipril/HCTZ

The dosage of moexipril/HCTZ your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on a number of factors, including:
  • Your blood pressure
  • How you respond to the medication
  • Other medications you are taking
  • Other medical conditions you may have.

What If I Take an Overdose?

As with most medications, it is possible to take too much moexipril/HCTZ. The main symptom of a moexipril/HCTZ overdose is extremely low blood pressure.
If you happen to overdose on this medication, seek immediate medical attention.

What Should I Do If I Forget a Dose?

If you forget to take your moexipril/HCTZ dose, just take it as soon as you remember, unless it is almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
