Who Makes Propranolol/HCTZ?

Brand-name propranolol/HCTZ was originally made by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Inc., for Akrimax Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Although Wyeth stopped making the brand-name medication, generic versions are still available and are manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals.

Available Strengths

Propranolol/HCTZ tablets come in the following strengths:
  • Propranolol/HCTZ 40 mg/25 mg, which contains 40 mg of propranolol and 25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide
  • Propranolol/HCTZ 80 mg/25 mg, which contains 80 mg of propranolol and 25 mg of hydrochlorothiazide.
