Serious Midamor Side Effects
Some side effects with
Midamor, while occurring infrequently, are potentially serious and should be reported immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
- Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting spells
- Signs of high potassium levels (hyperkalemia), including:
- Abnormal sensations, such as burning, tingling, or pricking
- Muscle weakness
- Low heart rate (bradycardia)
- Yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes
- Breast enlargement in men (gynecomastia)
- Signs of an allergic reaction, including:
- Unexplained rash
- Hives
- Itching
- Unexplained swelling
- Wheezing
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing.
Rare Midamor Side Effects
Rare side effects of Midamor occur in less than 1 percent of people taking the drug. Because these side effects are so uncommon, it is difficult to tell whether they are because of the medication or something else.
