The medication comes in the form of tablets, and is available in two strengths:
- Moexipril 7.5 mg
- Moexipril 15 mg.
The strength your healthcare provider recommends will depend on how you respond to the medication, whether you are taking other drugs, and other factors. In many cases, the starting dose is 7.5 mg daily. If necessary, your healthcare provider may increase the dose. People with kidney disease should take no more than 15 mg of moexipril a day.
