General Nicardipine Dosing Information

Some considerations for people taking nicardipine include:
 
  • Nicardipine comes in the form of a capsule. Nicardipine is taken by mouth, usually three times a day.
     
  • It is best to take nicardipine on an empty stomach, such as just before meals.
     
  • Nicardipine should be taken at the same times each day to maintain an even level of the drug in your blood.
     
  • For nicardipine to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. Nicardipine will not work if you stop taking it.
     
  • If you are unsure about anything related to your nicardipine dosage, please talk to your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
