Who Should Not Take Nicardipine?

You should not take nicardipine if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Cardene, nicardipine hydrochloride, or any of the inactive components used to make nicardipine. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients used to make nicardipine.
     
  • Have aortic stenosis, a condition that may be worsened by nicardipine.
