Basic Information on Nisoldipine

How Should Nisoldipine Be Stored?

Nisoldipine should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. The tablets should be stored in an airtight container.
 
Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your nisoldipine as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose.
 

Available Strengths

Nisoldipine tablets (in the new formulation) are available in four strengths:
 
  • Nisoldipine 8.5 mg
  • Nisoldipine 17 mg
  • Nisoldipine 25.5 mg
  • Nisoldipine 34 mg.
     
The previous formulation of nisoldipine tablets (which are available only in generic form) came in the following strengths:
 
  • Nisoldipine 10 mg
  • Nisoldipine 20 mg
  • Nisoldipine 30 mg
  • Nisoldipine 40 mg.
