Side Effects of Olmesartan Medoxomil-Hydrochlorothiazide

As with any medicine, there are possible side effects with olmesartan medoxomil-hydrochlorothiazide. However, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, they are often minor and either require no treatment or can be easily treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.
 
The most common side effects of olmesartan medoxomil-hydrochlorothiazide include:
 
  • Dizziness
  • Upper respiratory tract infections, such as the flu or common cold
  • Increased uric acid levels in the blood
  • Nausea.
