Propranolol Sustained-Release DosagePeople with high blood pressure or migraines are often prescribed a propranolol sustained-release dosage of 80 mg a day. The usual dose for hypertrophic subaortic stenosis ranges from 80 mg to 160 mg a day. People with angina are typically given between 80 mg and 320 mg a day. Your actual propranolol sustained-release dosage will vary, based on factors like age and other medications you are taking.
