Quinapril-Hydrochlorothiazide: What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

Prior to taking this drug, you should talk with your healthcare provider if you have:
 
Also, let your healthcare provider know if you:
 
  • Are pregnant or trying to become pregnant (see Accuretic and Pregnancy)
  • Are breastfeeding
  • Are on dialysis
  • Drink alcohol regularly
  • Will be undergoing surgery or anesthesia.
     
Tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you may currently be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
 
Do not take any potassium supplements or salt substitutes containing potassium without first discussing it with your healthcare provider.
