Warnings and Precautions With Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide

Before starting any medication, it's important to be aware of the relevant precautions and warnings. With telmisartan/hydrochlorothiazide, certain side effects are possible, including extreme low blood pressure, electrolyte imbalance, or decreased kidney function. Precautions and warnings with telmisartan/hydrochlorothiazide also extend to people who are allergic to any components of the medication, have severe liver or kidney disease, or are allergic to sulfonamide-derived drugs.
