Trandate: What Should I Tell My Healthcare Provider?

Before taking Trandate, let your healthcare provider know if you have:

  • Are pregnant or trying to become pregnant (see Trandate and Pregnancy)
  • Are breastfeeding
  • Will be undergoing surgery or anesthesia.
     
Tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you are taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

Overdose With Trandate

People who take too much Trandate may have overdose symptoms that could include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Extremely low blood pressure, which may cause lightheadedness, dizziness, or fainting
  • Severe decrease in heart rate (bradycardia)
  • Congestive heart failure.

 

If you happen to overdose on Trandate, seek medical attention immediately.
