Trandate Side Effects to Report

Some side effects with Trandate, while occurring infrequently, are potentially serious and should be reported to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Unexplained swelling or sudden weight gain, which may be signs of heart failure
  • Chest pain
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting spells
  • Sweating, shaking, or extreme hunger
  • Confusion
  • Yellowing of the eyes or skin (jaundice)
  • Dark urine
  • Vomiting
  • Upper-right abdominal pain (stomach pain)
  • An irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia)
  • Signs of an allergic reaction, including:
 
    • Unexplained rash
    • Hives
    • Itching
    • Unexplained swelling
    • Wheezing
    • Difficulty breathing or swallowing.
 

Rare Side Effects

Rare side effects occur in less than 1 percent of people taking a given medication. Given how uncommon these problems are, it can be difficult to tell whether they are actually caused by the medication or something else.
