Serious and Rare Problems With Trandolapril-Verapamil ER

Side Effects of Trandolapril-Verapamil ER to Report

There are a number of side effects with trandolapril-verapamil ER that you should report immediately to your healthcare provider. These include but are not limited to:
 
  • Unexplained swelling of the head or neck (including the face, lips, tongue, or throat)
  • Unexplained swelling of the hands and/or feet
  • Unexplained skin rash
  • Itching
  • Unexplained blisters or peeling of the skin
  • Wheezing
  • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting spells
  • Abdominal pain (or stomach pain) with or without vomiting
  • Any symptoms that might suggest an infection, such as a fever or sore throat
  • A decrease or increase in the amount of urine produced
  • Increased hunger or thirst
  • Drowsiness, headache, or back pain
  • Yellowing of the skin or the whites of the eyes
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Slow, weak, or absent pulse
  • Unexplained weight gain
  • Swelling of the ankles, feet, or legs
  • Cough or shortness of breath.
     

Rare Side Effects With Trandolapril-Verapamil ER

There are other trandolapril-verapamil ER side effects that can occur. These rare side effects happen in less than 1 percent of people. Given how uncommonly they occur, it can be difficult to tell whether these side effects are caused by the medication or something else.
