Trandolapril-Verapamil ER Dosing for High Blood Pressure
The recommended dosage of
trandolapril-
verapamil ER for people with
high blood pressure (
hypertension) will vary from trandolapril-verapamil ER 2 mg/180 mg to trandolapril-verapamil ER 4 mg/240 mg once a day. Based on the initial
blood pressure response and/or trandolapril-verapamil ER side effects, the dosage may be increased or decreased. With each change in dosage, it may take several weeks to see the full effects of trandolapril-verapamil ER on
lowering blood pressure.
If you have kidney disease or liver disease (including
cirrhosis), your healthcare provider may choose to start with a lower dose of trandolapril-verapamil ER and monitor you more closely.
