The recommended dosage of trandolapril-verapamil ER for people with high blood pressure will vary from 2 mg/180 mg to 4 mg/240 mg once a day. The trandolapril-verapamil ER dose your healthcare provider recommends will also vary depending on other medical conditions you may have, other medications you are currently taking, and how you respond to trandolapril-verapamil ER, among other factors. Trandolapril-Verapamil ER Dosage: An Introduction

The dose of trandolapril-verapamil hydrochloride ER (Tarka®) your healthcare provider recommends will vary depending on a number of factors, including:
 
  • Other medical conditions you may have
  • Other medications you may be currently taking
  • How your respond to trandolapril-verapamil ER.
     
As always, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
 

Trandolapril-Verapamil ER Dosing for High Blood Pressure

The recommended dosage of
 trandolapril-verapamil ER for people with high blood pressure (hypertension) will vary from trandolapril-verapamil ER 2 mg/180 mg to trandolapril-verapamil ER 4 mg/240 mg once a day. Based on the initial blood pressure response and/or trandolapril-verapamil ER side effects, the dosage may be increased or decreased. With each change in dosage, it may take several weeks to see the full effects of trandolapril-verapamil ER on lowering blood pressure.
 
If you have kidney disease or liver disease (including cirrhosis), your healthcare provider may choose to start with a lower dose of trandolapril-verapamil ER and monitor you more closely.
